About Andi Wrenn, AFC®, MQFP®

Andi Wrenn, MA, AFC®, MQFP@, has spent more than three decades helping individuals and families make sound financial decisions. With a background in education and counseling, she brings a unique, holistic approach to financial education, mentoring, and program development.

Andi holds a bachelor’s degree in education with a minor in mathematics and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. She is also a trained mediator in North Carolina. Her career began in 1993 when she started her own business serving military families, where she integrated financial education into employee development long before it became standard practice.

In 2007, Andi was awarded the prestigious FINRA Investor Education Foundation Military Spouse Fellowship, earning her AFC® certification the following year. Since then, she has dedicated her career to supporting military families, mentoring fellow financial professionals, and leading impactful initiatives in the personal finance space.

Andi played a pivotal role in the development and management of the Personal Financial Counselor (PFC) Program, where she placed and supervised military spouse interns beginning in 2008, built professional networks, and ensured new counselors received the guidance and support they needed. From 2012 until her recent retirement, she served as the Provider Network Manager at Zeiders Enterprises, Inc., overseeing CFP®, ChFC® and AFC® professionals delivering financial counseling to Service members and their families.

Her passion for financial literacy extends beyond her career. She actively volunteers with the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education® (AFCPE®), served on the Massachusetts Financial Education Collaborative (MFEC) youth financial literacy committee, and was the Social Media Director for NexGen FPA of the Triangle.

As the Past President of the AFCPE® Board of Directors, Andi continues to shape the profession by developing continuing education programs for AFC®, CFP®, and ChFC® professionals. Through her business, Coaching Capability, she mentors emerging financial professionals and offers programs like the Coaching Capability Experience Program, which helps AFC® and CFP® candidates gain up to 250 supervised hours toward certification, with an emphasis on rapport, trust, and communication.

Andi’s contributions have been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher Humanitarian Award – Air Force, two FINRA Foundation Mentor of the Year awards, and the 2023 Women Working in Wealth award for her advocacy and support of women in finance. Her Coaching Capability Book Study earned the 2021 Outstanding Financial Education Program of the Year.

A proud Air Force spouse and now a Military widow, Andi serves as a TAPS Mentor, helping other military widows through their grief. She also volunteers with the USO, supports her local elementary school weekly, and continues to mentor financial professionals nationwide as they pursue their goals and serve their communities.
